BBQ Spare Ribs
Ingredients
- Pork Spare Ribs
- Homemade Pork Seasoning Rub
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 Tbsp coarse ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp kosher salt
- 1 dash cayenne powder
- 2 Tbsp garlic powder
- 2 Tbsp onion powder
- BBQ Sauce
Directions
Standard oven:
Pre-heat oven to 250ºF.
Season ribs and put in oven covered with foil.
Bake until internal temperature reaches 190-203ºF - 3 - 5 hours.
Coat with BBQ sauce and broil for 3 min.
Flip, coat and broil again.
Anova Precision Oven:
Season ribs. Dry brine overnight if possible.
Cook for 8+ Hours at 163ºF / 100% steam.
Pull ribs, allow to try and preheat to 482ºF / no steam.
Coat ribs with BBQ sauce and sear for 5 min or until browned but not burnt.
